The new logo

The time has come to change my old niche non-vector logo with something more appealing to a wider range of people. Also red is not a color I particularly like, but it was the only one that worked with the design. Currently I am part of an entrepreneurship program that our regional development agency organizes. Where I am developing my business and I have the chance to get feedback from different profiles of people. The bottom line was simple the old logo must go. I had many different ideas on how my new symbol would look like. I stared with redesigning the old logo, but then I scratched it and the infamous dragon was born. Even tho I liked it, the general opinion of it wasn’t good. I kept working on it, till one night before I went to bed I had an idea, I did I quick sketch in my sketchbook. The next day that last minute Idea became my new logo. It’s funny how the last minute stupid ideas turn out to be the best solutions. Currently I’m still perfecting it the details, but this is basically how it’s going to look like. The tow colors represent the two sides: design and development of which I am an amalgam. I designed a prototype business card and a flyer and I’m currently working on an elaborate brochure with a origami folding system. I’ve decided to keep the old logo on this site, because it goes well with the rest of the design, the portfolio site and all other publications of mine will incorporate the new identity.
